Last month, a tiny 3-week-old kitten was found alone outside, separated from his mother and siblings. His desperate cries caught the attention of a Good Samaritan who rushed to his rescue.
The kitten had "cried himself hoarse," searching for his mom. After receiving much-needed care at an emergency vet clinic, a volunteer from Best Friends Felines, a cat rescue, welcomed the little one into their home, giving him a fresh start.
The kitten was extremely distressed until he nestled into his carer's arms. Though his voice was croaky from all the crying, his spirit remained full of hope.

He refused to be left alone, screaming his little heart out until he was cuddled. Seeing his need for constant companionship, they decided to place him with a few older kittens, providing him with the comfort and friendship he longed for.
A week earlier, a concerned passerby stumbled upon three kittens left behind after their stray mother cat ran off and never returned. They were taken to Best Friends Felines for a chance at a better life.
